Refund & Returns Policy

At Great Custom Boxes, we aim to get your packaging right every time. Our return policy follows clear procedures, fair timelines, and is designed to support a smooth customer experience.

Eligibility for Returns

Custom or Made-to-Order Products

  • Produced according to your approved proof.
  • Typically non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • Returns are only accepted if the product is defective, damaged, or incorrectly produced.

Non-Custom Products

  • May be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • Return requests must comply with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

How to Request a Return

  • Email sales@greatcustomboxes.com with your order number, clear photos, and a short explanation.
  • Wait for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  • Use the return address provided with your RMA.
  • Returns sent without an RMA may be refused.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

  • Report any issues within 7 days of delivery.
  • Keep the packaging and take clear photos of the damaged product, outer shipping box, and shipping label.
  • Include your order number and a description of the issue in your email.
  • Do not discard any items until our team completes the review.
  • Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for faulty goods.

Exceptions

  • Personalized or branded items are non-returnable unless defective.
  • Proof-approved orders: minor color or print variations within industry standards are not considered defects.
  • Used or partially used packaging is not eligible for return.
  • Samples can only be returned if defective upon arrival.

Responsibility for Return Shipping

  • Defective or incorrect items: We cover all return shipping costs.
  • Change-of-mind returns (non-custom items): You are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • All returns must be sent via tracked shipping for verification.

Refund Timelines

  • Approved refunds are processed within 4–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
  • Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the funds to your account.

Return Address

The correct return address will be provided along with your RMA. Please do not ship any items back without an RMA reference clearly visible on the label.
